This policy covers the website syyedmateen.com and the content management tools Syed Mateen builds and operates, including tools that connect to social media accounts to prepare and publish video content.
What the website collects
The website has no sign-up, no contact form and no advertising trackers. When you visit:
- Your browser stores your colour choice and your sound setting on your own device (local storage). They never leave your device.
- Fonts are served from this website itself. No third-party font service is contacted.
- The site is hosted on GitHub Pages, which may keep standard server logs such as IP address and pages requested.
If you email or message me, I receive whatever you choose to send and use it only to reply.
Connected social media accounts
When you authorise a supported platform (for example TikTok), the tools may receive basic profile details and authorisation tokens from that platform's official sign-in. This is used only to connect your account and upload or publish the videos you ask for.
Your videos
Videos you supply are processed only to prepare, upload or publish them to the platform you choose. You are responsible for having the rights to anything you upload or publish.
Sharing
Your information is never sold. It is shared only where needed to provide the feature you asked for, to operate the platform integration, or to comply with the law.
Security and retention
Reasonable technical and organisational measures protect the information the tools handle. Information is kept only as long as needed to provide the service, meet legal obligations or resolve disputes. You can revoke a platform's access at any time in that platform's settings.
